UK Extrusion Ltd are seeking a Service Manager

Company Description

We are the UK agents for world-renowned companies like Bandera, Syncro, Plasmac, Eurexma, and BD Plast, each specializing in different aspects of plastic extrusion and recycling.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Service Manager role based in our busy Newcastle Upon Tyne office. Just look at the view! The Service Manager will be responsible for co-ordinating engineering visits to our customers for project consultations, installations and ongoing preventative maintenance visits. They will also be the first point of call for breakdowns and emergencies. The Service Manager will manage the engineering service teams and contractors, co-ordinating service activities and maintaining service quality standards. Above all, the role is to ensure absolute customer satisfaction and build relationships with key personnel within our customer’s sites.

Qualifications

  • Experience in managing service departments and coordinating schedules
  • Knowledge of extrusion equipment and processes
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Degree in Engineering or related field is a plus
  • Certificates in relevant technical areas are a plus
